Most fillers are a crystal-clear gel that are tissue-friendly substances closely resembling the hyaluronic acid that occurs naturally in the body. By replenishing nature's supply of hyaluronic acid, fillers revitalize and plump up the skin, instantly diminishing the appearance of lines and giving a softer look. Fillers are used to sculpt the face and can plump the cheeks, fill in hollow areas under the eyes, sculpt the nose or the chin, and plump the lips.
